Notable Notecards has been one of Beth's dreams for the last ten years. Previously a financial advisor in public finance, Beth spent many of her waking hours in Texas issuing bonds for cities, hospitals, and higher education institutions. Her hard work in her financial career, however, paved way to the pursuit of her passion...travel and photography in nature.
Beth has spent many years shooting scenes all over the world with her Digital Elph point and shoot and her Canon Rebel T1 DSLR. Her photography has been featured in the Southwest Airlines magazine as well as the Colorado Springs airport.
After a twelve year career, she was fortunate to begin a new journey traveling across the United States in a Eurovan with her two dogs. Her journey included a daily blog with numerous photos: http://adventures of a couchsurfer.wordpress.com.
After her year long travels that took her to the 48 contiguous states, to multiple national and state parks, and to see countless natural wonders, she relocated to Denver and embarked on completing a notecard company to share the beauty our planet has to offer. She bought a web hosting package, learned html code herself, researched printers, and she has finally put her photos to paper. While most of the photographic notecards depict glorious locations in the United States, places as far as Antarctica and Palau are included in the mix. She hopes just one notecard may inspire someone to pick up a camera, to travel, or to enjoy nature and its beauty as much as she does.
